My son is 8 weeks old tomorrow. I’ve been so upset the last 2 weeks because of not having the quality time with my husband that I need. Did any of you mama’s have this too? My son is such a blessing, but I need the one on one time with my husband so desperately. We went out for an hour and a half last night. That’s not doing it for me. Please tell me I’m not the only one who has felt this way.

You are far from alone! Enjoy your little baby the very best you can and know that missing your husband has just become your new normal until that baby is sleeping on his own and able to be put down to play for a little bit during the day. My girls are 3yrs and 10 months tomorrow and my husband just moved back into our room from the guest room last month. The time will come but remember, once that little baby is no longer little, you may find yourself forever dreaming on the days when he was little and needed you. Your husband is right there and will be there long after the baby grows up and moves out. Best today wishes and congratulations!!! Make your relationship a priority the best you can but know that for right now baby does have to come first. Soon you will have more time with hubby. Hugs mama. You'll get through this!!!

I’m right there with you! I feel like such a bad mom because I was getting so depressed that my mom took my not even two week old son for the night so my husband and I could go out and have some time together and to be not just parents

You are a VERY blessed mama!!! Take that time and enjoy having a loving, trustworthy mom who is hands on and willing to help you!!!!!! Nothing wrong with having some one on one time with baby. after all you don't want to forget how you came to be with baby in the first place. Missing your husband is perfectly normal even if he's right there in the house with you after having baby. Enjoy every moment that you have alone with him and every moment that you have alone with your baby, as each moment is truly precious, and God bless you for having an amazing mom. Give her a big hug!!!!
