Long day today. I’m ready for bed. I had my second nst of the week this morning and the baby’s heart rate took a couple big dips so they sent me straight to L&D. He told me not to stop and eat before I went Incase they had to do my c section today. I’m only 32 weeks 5 days. I’m freaking out and crying on my way to the hospital and it all ended up being ok. I was monitored for about 5 hours and my ultrasound came back good so they let me go home. I had never “failed” a nst before. It was really scary!

I’ve done a ton of NST, but I can’t say I know what it’s like to fail one (unless that’s what happened to lead me to 24/7 monitoring)... anyway, I’m sorry you went through that scare. I’m glad things are okay and you were able to go home.

@faithhopelove, I was flown to a different hospital from where I live at and was placed on extremely strict bedrest. They wouldn’t even let me shower without the monitor being on, which meant a nurse had to help me hold the monitor on while I showered. I didn’t know what the hallway looked at because I could only get up to go pee, and some days I had a catheter in so I couldn’t get up at all. Baby did okay though, and even though he was born at 29 weeks gestational he was fine.

I have never done nst for my girls but for lil man I have and have had moments too with him but look now I turned 39 weeks today and he is healthy and strong not trying come out so no worries sometimes it gets like that

I had a dip at 38 weeks and they induced me that day. She had the cord wrapped around her neck. Scary stuff. Much love to you and all the best
