Question.. I had a vaginal birth with 6 weeks off and 2 weeks unoaid from my job. My doctor said I'm not healing at my tear site and wrote me off for another 2 weeks medical. Would you assume my 2 weeks unpaid wouks start after the medical time off? Or just be off the 8 weeks total and no unpaid time?

I would contact your jobs hr department to see. It really varies.

call back and say you need to clarify the more you think about it. Just ask is it paid, or is it not. Just ask directly so you get a direct answer.

So far your getting 6 weeks off with two weeks unpaid so 4 weeks you will be paid and tge other two weeka you should ask if its unpaid or paid? In guessing it would be unpaid other wise all 6 weeks would be paid you probably only have a certain amout of days paid available

I am getting 6 weeks paid and 2 weeks unpaid for 8 weeksnoff totsl. But yesterday at my 6 week check doc wrote me off another 2 weeks

No you’re not medically cleared so you’ll be paid for those extra 2 weeks. I wasn’t cleared for an extra month and it was all paid so I had a total of 10 weeks before my “leave” actually started
