my thoughts exactly. Like it’s an hour drive to the hospital if it gets that high at that point what can happen in that time being. And she said well since it goes down for a little it’s fine. 🤬🤬😡

I was told the same thing by a nurse one night and was adamant about getting my baby seen. Went to the ER and they did nothing for her but her Dr then had her direct admitted 2 days later after she wasn't getting any better and found our the ER Dr had been wrong. She had a double ear infection, RSV, and 2 other viruses. Needed IV meds and fluids, plus suctioning and observation. She was 5 months that at the time. Hope your baby is ok!!!

Yes he’s been he’s on antibiotics. But his fever won’t go down even with Tylenol and Motrin it goes down some but not a lot

If it's not going down with helps from meds he needs care! Better safe than sorry mama. I have a friend who is Amish. Her parents didn't know any better and she had a very high fever like that. Sadly, by time she got to medical care it had already done damage. And she had a bad illness. She is 34 years old and deaf because of a fever with lesser cognitive skills. I'd rather be wrong bugging my Dr 1000 times than wrong not to once.

@mamaof2babes have you tried a Luke warm bath? Maybe some cool rags on his forehead. Skin to skin IS AMAZING
