Ever since my diabetes diagnosis in March of 2016, my husband had to switch my health insurance to something that was a little more affordable than what work offered. The out of pocket for insulin/test strips/lancets/syringes were almost unaffordable with his plan.

Now that I’ve been asymptomatic for over 18 months and my A1c is 4.2, my hubby told me as of April 1st I can use the same benefits as the rest of the family. His insurance is now better than mine so this is really exciting news for me. Less expenses is always a good thing.
