APPLE QUESTION
My son was playing with our iPad and made a passcode somehow. Obviously it could be anything so I'm locked out. I don't have access to a computer so if I take to the Apple store, can they unlock it? I know the Apple ID and stuff.
The nearest apple store is 40 min away so I don't want to go if they can't do anything.

You might be able to call apple and tell them what happened. As long as you know the apple ID they should help get it unlocked.

I’ve been through this one. Had three I had to drive 85 miles each way to have wiped clean due to my siblings mother illegally hijacking them with her Apple ID, thumbprint and a few other layers. It can be done! Not impossible but a pain! You will need to bring your proof of purchase to unlock it. Going without that will be a waste of time. Otherwise find a local computer genius in your area and pay them a few bucks to help you out. In this case though try calling AppleCare first before running around to do all of that.

Um how could I go about getting proof of purachse? My mom bought it for me on her phone plan that's in her name :(
