My husband is a truck driver. Works weds-sunday night shift. He leaves at 8:15 and gets home at anytime between 7-9am sometimes hes home later and sometimes hes home earlier. It sucks causs he sleeps all day so when the baby n i wake up hes sleeping. So we like hardly ever see him. But i had my daughter in bed by midnight and up by noon sometimes 1pm but now im into a game and shes been going ti sleep at 2am lol so it sucks but i guess it works for us

Mine is in Europe for 1-3 months at a time for work and school. Lots of video chats (daily or multiple times daily) and lots of videos, photos and voice messages for both me and the baby can make it easier for everyone. Including daddy who is missing out on the babies new things! He texts me a lot, even if it's just briefly, one sentence while he has a few minute break between classes and I can wake up and read it (he's 6 hours ahead) we text each other what we are doing multiple times a day, helps us feel like we're more involved and can help us picture what the other person is doing and helps with missing them so much. It's hard but only for a few years and the years go by fast! Always be positive and communicate when you have an issue and don't be shy about saying/talking about your feelings on the subject and the fact that you two miss each other
