My baby has an ear infection😩 the doctor said he can have a fever for 3 more days lasting 103. I don’t see how that’s ok that seems to high to have for 3 days. What do you guys think?

That's normal. My dd suffered from alot of ear infections. Alternate tylenol and motrin. Also once the antibiotics kick in he should feel better and fevers will go down.

Thank you!! I wasn’t sure. 3 more days seems like a long time for antibiotics to kick in.

I know it sucks. It will kick in on the second day or so. Hopefully.

Going through this. My boy twin has a bad infection in 1 ear. His fever stopped when the antibiotics started. He is almost done with them. My 4 year old has an infection in both ears. No fever until she was already on the antibiotics. She had a fever above 102 off and on for 3 days. I gave her Motrin to help.

I’m swtcihing back and forth Motrion and Tylenol trying to get it below 101
