Has anyone’s toddler had ear fluid behind the ear that caused a fever? My son had a ear infection on Wednesday. I took him again on Sunday thinking the fever was from a not cured infection. The doctor said his infection was gone , but that he had fluid behind his ear. I don’t understand why he has a fever now

@mumstasin I always get a second opinion if I feel it in my gut something isn't right and almost every time for me example on my end My doctor told me come back if her temp is 105 mind you she was at 103 at 11months took her a hour away come to find out rsv and flu got the best of her so you go with your gut instinct ..I hope your lil man gets some relief and better soon

omg wow. My son has only a runny nose and a ear infection that supposedly cleared up. If he continues today I’ll probably go for a second opinion. The worst thing was that after the doctor was chit chatting with the nurses. Not sure if it was about how we brought our son in when he has been in strong antibiotics. Or if it was about a different family. Still very unprofessional. Sometimes we go for peace of mind. Not necessarily because something wrong. And it’s strange because he’s really a good doctor usually.

that's good we had a ok doctor well she was just old school and everything was just a 24hr virus to her
