Yeah I did. I swore I would be able to feel myself pee but nope, once they changed the bag I was like woah when did all this happen lol

Yea it felt super uncomfortable at first but now that im completly numb i dont even know its there

Yup, as soon as you get the epidural they insert it then it stays in until after birth and it’s worn off. You can’t feel anything from the waist down so you don’t know when you have to pee which could make you hold it and get an infection.

They never kept mine in. They'd put it in, empty my bladder, and then take it out.

I’m pretty sure it’s not an option with an epidural. I didn’t even notice anything when they were putting it in or really when taking it out. The only thing of consequence at least for me was when it comes out you have to pee within a certain amount of time- first time I didn’t have an issue, second time I just couldn’t feel the urge- it took awhile and they almost had to put it in again.

Yes because you will not be able to get up and use the restroom or feel the urge to go.
