Can you have a vagina birth after a csection? I had my girls via csection & they’re 2 years old. I’m not pregnant yet but we’re still trying & I saw something about it somewhere so I was just curious.
I wanna try so bad! But I was induced for being overdue and then had a csection due to lack of progression so I hope to at least try
It really depends on why you needed a c section the first time. A lot of doctors are totally fine with women trying for a VBAC (vaginal birth after a c section). I had a c section with my son, and the doctor that did my surgery said I’d be a great candidate for a VBAC so I’m going to try it with my next kiddo.
I stopped dilating at 8cm with my twins & my oldest twin’s head got stuck. 😏 I was in labor for 14 hours. I was sooo upset when I had to have a csection but I’m kind of glad I didn’t push them both out my hooha 😂 I really wanted to try for a vaginal birth next time to be able to experience it but idk if I’ll get to. 😞
@twinmommy1717, you may still be able to if your body was doing what it’s supposed to! I stopped dilating at 7cm with my son because of his position too ! He had his hands up by his face and was not coming out that way lol 🤷🏽♀️. You could totally try! Especially if next pregnancy is just a singleton
I just had a vbac a week ago after I had a c section for my first son! It all depends on why you had to get the c section. Like for example I had the c section bc my sons heart rate was declining not bc I wasn't dilating.
@queendeeahlease, well let’s just hope for the best! 🤞🏼 I feel sorry for my doctor because once I do get pregnant, I’m going in with a notebook full of questions! 😂
Yes ma’am! I’ve only had one c section and trying for a VBAC for my second pregnancy. However, I’ve heard of women having 2 c sections and being successful with a VBAC
Yup I've had 4 successful vbacs after 1 csection
