Have any of you ladies ever used pulmicort for your kid!? Josiah's doctor prescribed it for him the other day to try and help with asthma flare ups.. And then also albuterol incase his episodes get bad, we've just been using albuterol when he has problems breathing but she said pulmicort will reduce them..

I take pulmicort. Have for a very long time with my other meds. Works great🤷🏻♀️💎

I've had severe asthma my whole life. I haven't used pulmicort specifically but I do have a preventative inhaler as well as a pill now that I'm pregnant because it has gotten worse. The pulmicort should help so he doesn't get so bad when he does have a flare up and they should happen less frequently.

Also use albuterol. I use it all girl or id be dead😂🤣💎

My 5 yr old uses it, it helps her a lot when she's having an attack. The past two winters she's come down with pneumonia and it's helped a lot.

My middle son was on Flovent for some time. It definitely helped. Luckily his lungs have strengthened and he no longer needs it.

It’s what my insurance says I should be using (because they cover it at the lowest tier) it never worked for me. Ever. I use advair.

@heera @madhatter @mommymonster @laniejay @squishymommy1 I'm hoping the pulmicort helps him cause when he does have flare ups they can get pretty bad.. Recently he's been having to use breathing treatments (albuterol) 3-4 times a week that's why she prescribed the pulmicort

Poor buddy. I know that pain all too well. Definitely see how he does over the next few weeks with the pulmicort. They can always switch to something else if it doesn't do enough for him. Advair and Flovent never worked for me but a combo of symbicort and cingular helps. They'll get him on the right track. 🤞🏻💜

yeah that's what his doctor said to give it a try and if it doesn't help then she'll try something else! I just hate seeing him get the way he does when he needs the treatment so I'm praying our first try with pulmicort helps and we won't have to switch 🤞🏻
