Hey ladies! I’m looking for some advice/tips on baby’s sleeping head position. She is always sleeping on her right side and as much as I try to place her head on the left or middle she manages to turn it to the right. She is two months (10weeks). I don’t want her right side to be flat. I also would like to place a baby pillow or blanket on the right so she doesn’t turn her head but i’m scare about SIDS. Anyone?

What I did to prevent a last head was to keep my kids on their sides. I would alternate sides. So after every feeding or diaper change I’d flip them. When your baby is awake keep her off her back as much as you can (tummy time, baby wearing, or just carry her) I wouldn’t put pillows near her but a rolled up receiving blanket to keep her positioned is ok. That’s what I used to do.

My son did something similar. It ended up being torticollis. He had to go to physical therapy and get a helmet. If you’re concerned, definitely talk to your doctor. The sooner, the better!
