I swear if someone else tells me because I’m married to a man I can’t be bisexual I’m gonna flip! I’ve heard this multiple times and it’s driving me crazy! My grandma also won’t acknowledge my sexuality and keeps telling me I’m confused. Like no I’ve been like this for as long as I can remember. My parents accept me so that’s all that matters. I just keep seeking approval from my grandma.

okay, so they are the ones being pesky about it. My thoughts were that you shouldn’t be thinking of anyone else, except your SO, so it shouldn’t matter what your sexuality is. I get what you are saying now though.
And for clarity’s sake, I do understand that you can be bisexual and in a committed heterosexual relationship. I would have asked you the same question if you were with a woman

Alot of people assume it just goes away.
Also I know people who think bisexual people can't be monogamous 🤔. Idk why they think this. They think they can't be content with just one. But both my sister's are Bi and with females and are monogamous. They didn't magically stop liking men 😂

Of course you can be married and bi-sexual and nobody gets the right to tell you how to identify yourself but you. I’m bi-sexual as well and only a few people know that because it is a difficult thing for others to understand. Sexuality is a spectrum.
Who cares what anyone else thinks as long as you are happy with where and who you are now. ♥️

They are probably getting at saying you can’t be bi. Is because you’re married or getting married and in most marriages it’s monogamous. So you can technically still be bi, just not actively participating in bisexual relationships. But you should tell them all to mind their business and stop bringing it up bc you’re about to get married.

I’m sorry. I have an 85 ye old aunt. Closest person to me and she doesn’t have a filter and is “old school” thinking. My sister married a women and my aunt can not come to terms that they are married. She refers to my sisters wife is “her I don’t know what to call her.” Older people are hard to deal with at times. I’m sorry.
