Belly sleepers....how far along were you before you couldn't comfortably sleep on your belly? Did you have any concerns? Did your doctor ever say not to?
Thank u. Yeah I was just wondering what others have heard from their doctors. With my first son I had a body pillow and avoided it but I can't help but want to sleep on my stomach 😭
@fldagurl82 ya after awhile you just can't, it will hurt. My son use to lay in my hips so I couldn't alseep on my stomach, side, or flat on my back. I had to be in a weird position between my side and back and it was horrible!
@jmedina yeah well I have a bicornuate uterus and my baby is in my right side. They said it's good to sleep on your left side anyways but I've been ending up on my stomach. I think I was a little worried about if maybe I was squishing him but I was reading that there's like so much cushion between the outside and baby
I was 35 weeks when I couldn’t do it with my son anymore, I’m still doing it now with my daughter. The doctor said if I’m comfortable that it’s fine. Lol
Yes! I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow and I'm just a stomach sleeper. I've tried to fall asleep on my side but it's not the same but when I wake up I do feel a little sore. Idk...guess I'll ask my Dr and see what she says. Thank you
I could have comfortably probably until around 5-6 months but I was told not to cuz it prohibited blood flow
@fldagurl82, I'm cheap so I never bought any of that stuff but I did put a pillow under my stomach so I didn't roll but still had the support and it helped a lot
@lei14mar lol. I never got the fancy pregnancy ones. Just like the longer ones you see at Walmart for like $10. I've tried using my pillow but I'm not really a pillow person so I only have 2 on my bed which my son ends up taking one when he comes in my room right before bedtime 😒
@fldagurl82, I was so excited to be able to sleep on my stomach after having her but now sleeping on it makes my boobs leak horribly 😂
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
The first post isn't true. You will not squish your baby or cut off blow flow. I slept on my stomach for about 6 months and then kinda to my side with my knee up keeping pressure off my belly. And once I got so big I couldn't sleep on my back because it DID cut off blow flow but you can tell because you can't breath when it happens lol. So as long as you can do it comfortably you can lay any way you want. Your body will let you know!
