Head Up Mommas! I try my best to make sure that my son has the best...I really do because its so important to us. Well I will never purchase another box of Annies Homegrown ANYTHING. While I confidently and leisurely poured the powdered cheese onto the cooked noodles of this box, I noticed dark specks in the light toned powder. After investigation I realized “they” were dead bugs.
Dead bugs in my babys food that I was preparing and almost didnt notice and was about to feed him. Can you imagine? I was instantly disgusted and felt sick to my stomach because I am responsible for his well being.
I dont want to hear anything about how you use less or no pesticides and thats why they are in the box of food that you sell to us for our kids to eat. Less or no pesticides does not justify the excuse of bugs in the food that I prepare for my child. I had to separate myself from what was in front of me because I was so upset. I will NOT put my money into you for another day. I cannot care why. I know that I somehow trusted your brand and should not have. It is not ok and yes, I am still upset.
Since when does Annie’s have powdered cheese? Weird. We buy Annie’s Mac and cheese as well but ours always has the whipped velveeta type cheese, not powdered
