Right. I will say I was anti spanking until I had my youngest, I never needed to.
Someone said to me
"If your toddler thinks someone is doing something bad does she swat them"
Like , not that it is your business or anything. But she was smacking anf pushing her sister before I decided to spank her. When time outs and stiff didn't work, I had no choice but to. She's a very strong willed child. So yes I give her a quick swat on the butt. It's not even hard. Don't act like I'm smacking her in the face 🙄.

I agree. I was anti spanking until my daughter was hitting really hard or when she throws things at someone. A simple no or time out just doesn't cut it at times. I was spanked as a child not hard but enough to know my parents meant buisness. This generation today is out of control. But again it is just my opinion. :)

See my sister's were abused, my husband was abused so we were anti spanking. Even he agreed that our youngest sometimes needs it
She gets a 123 warning before I resort to spanking. Lately she got s tablet so I threaten to take that away so I won't even need to spank her

@nerdymommyplus2 I am the same way. I don't beat my child. And I could careless what others think about a swat on a diaper. We all parent differently and have different opinions. But I also do the 123 before I tap her on the butt. Different things work for different ppl. And that is ok. :)

My oldest has never been spanked. You just have to get on her level and talk to her. They are two completely different children

🤷♀️ Everyone has different opinions on it. Doesn't hurt my feelings none. We all parent differently and that is ok.
