Soooo my little guy is 4 months and hasn't doubled his birth weight. He's been on a few different milks and now has been on soy for 2 months and still throws up like crazy. He has to see a specialist and I'm worried sick. Any one else little one have a similar issue?

@moifait, that’s exactly how my daughter was. It was really scary actually and I cried a lot because I felt so helpless. I felt even worse after knowing that there was actually something really wrong and I wish we had gotten her on the medication sooner.

@moifait, it helped with the reflux, vomiting, and therefore the pain. The medication helped her keep her food down and in 3-4 days there was a noticeable improvement. That’s absolutely BS that there isn’t medication for your little one. I believe Aria (my daughter) was right around 3 months old when she started her medication. Go to a different doctor if you have to. My doctor told me a lot of doctors don’t like to put babies on medication unless absolutely necessary so your pediatrician may be one of those doctors. Have they don’t any tests on him or had him on any special formula?

yes. We just can home from a 4 day hospital stay and he had ultrasounds annnbd stays to make sure he didn't have pyloric stenosis. Found out it's the flu and acid reflux. However, I have to see his pediatric specialist for meds. Hopefully they'll give him something.
