What’s the most important thing to remember or do while giving birth to make it easier for me..? AND GO
Try not to strain your face or scream while pushing, that caused me to pop blood vessels in my eyes. Push as if you’re trying to poop lol. Don’t let the nurses stop you from following your instincts, you know your body better than anyone else. For instance, my nurses wouldn’t let me take the catheter out while pushing even though I begged for hours. Once it finally came out, my pushing was way more efficient and it sped things up.
Also try to poop before your pitocin starts bc using the restroom during contractions literally feels like a period is coming and I was holding onto the rail
Push into your body like taking a poo and not in your face bc you’ll get lightheaded
Breathe during your contractions ! And when you're pushing don't scream bc you'll waste all your energy just screaming your lungs out ! Just hold your breathe and push ! Also ice water helped me hopefully they'll give you plenty of water
Just push like you’re pooping. Remember to breathe! When you feel that ring of Fire just remember it’s temporary and focus on getting baby out.
