I just finished Abducted in Plain Sight 🤦🏽♀️ but it made me want to ask you ladies...the talk of “you don’t let anyone touch you there” we all have with our girls...do you have that same talk with your sons?

Yes! I had boys first and it still happens so I told them if anyone besides us (parents) and grandparents and their dr that if anyone ever touched them they needed to tell another adult they trusted immediately!

I’m currently halfway through it right now!! This is so sick, it’s making me so mad. & yes boy or girl.. I will have the same talk with all of my kids. Boys can get abused just as much as girls can and it’s sickening 😪 my son will know that is a private place. For him and him only! Then once he gets to a certain age later on in life, him and his dad can have the other “talk”

YES i just told my son this ! Told him what to do if someone does and how to stop it and also to run and tell me right away!!! I keep reminding him about it ... boys go throughout sexual harassment and sexual abuse as well.

Absolutely. We speak of consent, appropriate touching, etc. We use appropriate terms. We start as young as possible.

he deserved to spend the rest of his nasty life in prison, he took the easy way out. Or the fact that he had sexual relations with BOTH her parents just to get closer to Jan. & did NOBODY notice all those phone calls and love letters from 12-16 years old? I’m sorry but the only love letters that age should be little notes from your crush at school. Not grown ass men. & who was passing these notes around for them? Did nobody be like.. “mm maybe I shouldn’t be passing love letters between a child and grown man, or maybe I should tell someone about it”. Sick

Ok so the reason I asked the question was because B was also abused and it seems to be an unfortunate trend that the abused boy becomes abuser. I’m glad to know that we’re taking the same precautions with our boys as we do with our girls. Gotta protect our babies 😩
