No joke this one time we were in Walmart in line and this mixed couple was in front of us. The man turns looks at us. Puts his arms around his women and smiles says “I see y’all are doing your part in fighting racism too” lmao

@ann.g., the gave me a dirty look & shook her head muttering something under her breath. then my son was acting up so i was trying to get him to calm down & she was trying to pass us in the isle, one lady moved her cart back so she could get by & the lady made it a POINT to thank the lady that moved, like i was in the way 😂😂😂 like ok lady

@ameenas.momma @kartersmommyy. I live in sc and we have a ton of mixed families. But in the richer parts peolle do get stares bc its not normal tovthe older generation. Its alot of how people were raised.

It used to be so bad for my parents.. people would leave notes on their cars and call the cops and make fake complaints. I even remember when I was probably like 5 I was having a sleepover and invited my friends and one of them told me they couldn’t come because my dad was black and my mom was white. I remember that really hurting my feelings as a kid.. it’s honestly just crazy and sad that it’s still going on. I’m sorry y’all have to go through that but your little family is beautiful! I love seeing Karter on my timeline. 😍

I think it’s a religion thing but I will never understand why it’s a religion thing because to me I just see it as two people getting married and having kids like the Bible says to so I don’t understand why it’s an issue for others.

Funny that where you live you get "the look" from "older white people" and yet where I am I get "the look" and ugly comments from "people of color" and only love and respect from "white" people about my mixed ethnicity family. I don't relish in the day when my children stop seeing us as all the same and start asking tough questions about all of our differences. I think in most cases when we are getting "the look", it's more about the fact that even in this day and age our combination is unique to most and people are often looking out of curiosity and intrigue, not malice. Sadly, there are the ones who are just ugly, but don't let their ugly become yours or else you become part of the problem along with them. I'm sure all of you have beautiful families. Just keep in mind beauty is more in how we act than how we look. God bless you all.
