We're wanting to take a little family vacation in July before the baby gets here in September. We live in Indiana and don't mind driving or flying. We've been to Florida many times so we're not looking to go there. Any ideas on where we could go?

Mackinac Island in Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and the UP, waterfalls, Pictured Rocks, etc.
We've been to Mackinaw City and the island 4 times! I love it there, but I think the kids are getting bored of it lol

You've seen the ocean, you should head to the mountains! Colorado is beautiful in the summer!
@carmenkay83, yes, I agree. I live north east of Indy! My husband works in Indy and my oldest daughter was born there..
I'm from the Fort originally. Been in Florida for over 20 years though. You can drive down to Knoxville, TN in about 8 hours. Go to Chattanooga also. Beautiful area. Hiking, fishing, camping, cabins, hotels. Dollywood, and more! Affordable and "close" to home. You could also go to the Natural Bridge State Park in Kentucky. Sweet water, TN and the hidden lake, cave exploration. There are so many options in Eastern Tennessee.
