So. Need some advice I am so irritated. So my sister and her friend are both 22. My sister doesn't have kids yet but has been in a committed relationship and is now engaged for 4 years. Her friend is starting to piss me off and she asked me for advice and I don't know what to tell her.
My sister's friend has a kid who is 1.5 years old. She married a guy she knew for a week, got knocked up, realized it at 4 weeks and left her husband. So they divorce and hubby has a new girlfriend who is due soon. He has their kid every other weekend.
So my sister is visiting me and her friend keeps calling complaining. Well tonight she messaged she needs a break from being a mom so she can have some fun and she's tired of not being able to have sex because of her kid.
I told her friend she needs to grow up. She should have given her kid up if she wanted time to herself and to sleep around. I have 3 kids all under 5 and 1 one the way I get wanting some "me time" but dad has kid Friday morning to Monday night twice a month, that isn't enough time?!
I only get to see my sister for a few times a year and her friend is getting on my nerves. Am I a horrible person?

And she was telling all these guys before she was pregnant (my sister's fiance is a marine and so is my husband) so they'd come visit me and she'd say shit to my husband's friends and juniors "oh I can't wait to be a wife" "oh I can't wait to be a mom" "I'm going to be a great mom and a great wife"

I’ve had moments where I’ve felt overwhelmed and needed time for myself which for me is taking a shower. I only get to see my step kids for a few hours on the weekends and my daughter goes to her dads every other weekend but I do get a little overwhelmed so I have my husband watch the kids so I can shower and I can get a small break but it’s not to get laid it’s just so I can have a moment to breathe and think. She should have thought about her freedom before she laid down and had sex

You are not a horrible person!
This friend is in need of a true reality check. 2 weekends per month she can go out get as drunk as she wants and sleep with whoever she wants. She sounds unhappy being a mom. If she hates it so much she should give full custody to the dad and only see her child for visitations. She should also make sure she is on birth control and uses all forms of contraception to prevent ever having another child.

Yeah I have 3 kids and one on the way. I think I had 1 weekend away from my first and she was over a year old before I was willing to be away from her.

You’re right but don’t you dare complain about being a parent.. if she wanted to go fuck around she should have thought about that before she got pregnant.. once you have a child it’s no longer about you.
Yes everyone need a little “me” time but don’t you dare blame your baby for the reason you can’t get some dick. Especially when her child goes to her dads every other weekend.. 🙄 like those are her weekends to have time to herself and do whatever she wants.

Well hopefully as she grows and matures as a mother and person she will change her priorities and be more focused. I know how hard it can be to make yourself into the parent your kid deserves
