How was it? What were the rooms and midwives like? I've been in a delivery room in there and it was really small, just worried that they're all like that? And my current midwife isn't very nice and i really don't want a woman like her to deliver my baby
I did, couldn't fault the midwives and doctors at the birth, it was on the ward afterwards that I didn't like the midwives much and they made me quite anxious. Opted for the women's hospital this time round xx
@zoejukes1704 That's strange 🤔 I think I registered at 10 weeks, it has been difficult though because I'm out of area for women's, they haven't made it easy! They've sent me all over the place for bloods and scans, maybe that's why your midwife didn't recommend it xx
area had nothing to do with it she just said I've got no chance because I had be be 8 weeks or less (she's not a nice lady) but I'm also being sent all over the place, they keep sending me to sollihull for bloods and scans even though it's an hour from me and I don't drive either so it's expensive taxi rides xx
I went for a visit to Birmingham didn’t give birth but got admitted at the antenatal assessment unit for a flu. Got to say the midwifes are brilliant but the rooms are rather old and need updating. Especially the postnatal wards. I was also at the labour room for treatment and the rooms are fairly reasonable
@zoejukes1704 my actual labour was fine my midwife was amazing, the room was clean it wasnt like tiny but not huge either, i thought it was a lovely experience considering the pain i was in lol! But the ward nurses i didnt like, not all of them but some of them were rude, no idea what privacy was. I complained a few times, couldn't wait to go home. Womens was really good the whole way through.

I asked to go to women's but I was told I had to register there when I was 8 weeks and she said I had no chance xx
