So many people want to be alone at home the first few days home with the new baby, but I’m so the opposite.
I’m having my wonderful MIL come stay 3 weeks, and my sister is also coming one week.
The more hands to help while I recover from my c-section in my opinion. 🤗

I cannot imagine.
I had my husband for 6 weeks the first time (thanks to being in California.) but this time we are in Nevada and they don’t provide any kind of paternity leave, so with vacation time we will have 4 weeks off.
But, I figure it will be nice having my MIL here to help solely with older sister while I focus on healing & new baby. I’m definitely lucky, that’s for sure.

That's great I agree with you I wish I had someone to come for me but I didnt it was very hard those first weeks.

My mom stayed with us for a couple weeks with my frst. I was extremely sick tho and not able to move. Lol but so thankful she did.

I’m the same way. Hubby gets shit for paternity leave but some family will be here to help the first couple of weeks. Luckily though Ryan works nights so even if i really needed him during the day he’d be here for me.

Even the three days at the hospital post c section I always have one of my sisters there ready to help any way they can. It’s truly a blessing
