Mamas maybe one of you can help me. So I just found out on top of my husband leaving me he left me for another woman he was cheating on me with. How do I get over this

Here is the thing.
It’s one thing to fall out of love and decide to go your separate ways. However, he actively cheated behind your back: that shows the type of human he is.
You have to keep reminding yourself that you and your daughter deserve to be treated like the world revolves around you. You have to keep telling yourself that you’re better off - even if it doesn’t seem like it now - you are.
It will take time. And a LOT of self love. But, find a new hobby If you can, and focus on you & your little.
With time you’ll find that you are just fine without him, and at the same time you’ll be showing your daughter what self worth is all about.
I’m so sorry, by the way. Nobody deserves to be cheated on. ♥️

Thank you for telling me that. Honestly right now it is something I needed to hear/see. I got married young and dumb to someone who couldn't handle me and any signs of a struggle for us and I know that. I just never thought I would be in this situation.

you’re definitely not alone. There are millions who’ve gotten married young and it didn’t work out. There are millions who’ve gotten married later and life and it doesn’t work out. It’s definitely not your fault.
Even if you pushed him away..even if you fought a lot, ect....when one goes behind the others back and cheats, it just shows that they took the easy way out. They found someone else secretly, yet kept you on the line just to see if things played out. He used you, in other words.
The way I’ve always looked at it: it shows that cheaters have no self respect nor respect for their loved ones.
One day your daughter will ask him why he and her mommy aren’t together anymore and he will have to explain to her that he choose to leave. It’s unfortunate, but it’s true.
Sorry to ramble: I hate this topic. Hahah!
Like is said - a hobby will make a huge difference in your life. I recommend something like yoga. You can even do it at home. First thing in the morning, or (my favorite) right before bed. It helps you focus, and love yourself.
The best slap in the face to him will be seeing you thrive and flourish without him.
I can almost guarantee he won’t stay with this homewreaker for long, and when they split, he will almost certainly try to come crawling back. He will then see you happier than ever and it will be HIS LOSS.

I spent 5 years of my life with someone. Helped him raise his kids. Wanted to marry him. And then he left his phone home one day. That’s how I found out. And I left him. That day. I know it’s not exactly the same situation as yours. But I got over it by finally doing things I wanted to do. My best friend helped me the whole way. I was sad? She took me out and cheered me up. I needed some comfort. We cuddled in bed and watched tv together. I needed to cry. She hugged me and just let me cry. It’s going to be tough at first. But the days will get easier. And now I’m with someone who treats me better. And puts any insecurities or anxieties to rest. He PROVES to me that he’s not and he won’t cheat on me anytime I have those thoughts. It does get better. Like @jennatess, said. Focus on you and your child. Life will get better

Thank you for the words of truth and encouragement. If I didn't have my daughter I would have broken down a lot sooner. I was okay with him leaving until I found out he cheated

don’t let the fact that he cheated break you down. If anything let that fact fuel you to be better. Be better than him. Be someone that will make him realize what he lost. Just proves even more that HE doesn’t deserve you.

I agree with the other ladies. At this point, you make a commitment to yourself and your daughter. A commitment to never take him back , even if he begs and cries and pleads later - he has made his choice. And if he did it once, he'll do it again when things get tough.
So look forward - separation and divorce. Create a new life for you and your daughter - one that's focused on the two of you, self-love, and learning about what YOU want in life for yourself. Don't go looking for another man. Don't try to make your ex jealous.
It sucks. A lot. So cry, grieve, be pissed off, take kickboxing. Logically you can know its best to separate, but your heart will still hurt for a while. Let it. But heal and allow yourself to move forward and seek better. You deserve it.
Big hugs momma.
