Is it normal to only have gained 1 pound my whole pregnancy? My doctor says it’s fine but to me it sounds like a serious problem. With my first I gained 40 pounds lol.

First pregnancy gained maybe about 50 pounds no lie, but this pregnancy I keep loosing weight 😫

Shockingly I dropped all my pregnancy weight plus a little within 6 weeks after having my son. I had a little extra I wanted gone before I got pregnant this time so I'm ok with losing weight so far lol.

wow ! That is super fast ! It toke me maybe 4 months with my first to lose weight and I still had a mommy pouch due to my c-section. I definitely feel better knowing that is is normal and I am not alone.

she only told me that she’s going to send me a prescription for nausea to help me eat she said it happeneds some gain some loose and for me not to worry

@mamiprincess77, ok great ! I know when I had nausea it was so hard to eat anything. I lost maybe 6 pounds.

With all my pregnancies I lose weight initially (I don't throw up or anything, my body just reacts that way) then I gain baby weight by the end. 🤷♀️ no one is the same

that’s not overweight. But I do know they think it’s a good thing if you lose weight when they consider you to be overweight. I’m sure it made it easy on you.

No its quite normal as long as bump measures to date! I lost 16lbs my 1st trimester and stayed the same weight through out my whole pregnancy but the last 3 weeks I gained 8lbs! My doctor wasnt alarmed and was impressed with how perfect my bump measured for not gaining weight! Though I know that the WIC office will push women to gain weight, if you go through offices like those! 😊

My doctor said my bump was measuring about right. I wasn’t quite where it should be but it was fine. It just still alarmed me that I wasn’t gaining. But I definitely feel better about it now. That is pretty impressive. I’m sure it was super easy to lose the 8 pounds lol. No I don’t go through those offices but I have heard the same thing about them pushing women to gain about 30 pounds.

As long as your continuing to eat well and baby is healthy then don't worry. I gained a lot with my son. So far this time I've lost 15lbs, I keep waiting for my weight to at least not drop but it hasn't happened yet, my belly is still growing though and baby is growing well. I gained most of my weight in my last trimester though, so that might be when I gain most again this time.

My doctor said the Same thing. This pregnancy turned me and my family vegan and I was so concerned it was because of that and I was stopping the baby from growing. My last appointment I lost 3 pounds. But my doctor wasn’t concerned at all. This pregnancy is so different from my first. I’m definitely thinking you will gain more towards the end. Even if it’s just a few pounds.

I'm pretty much vegetarian and always have been so I know it's not that. I have also eaten better this pregnancy though, I just want to eat better things because of the effect of this pregnancy. It's so weird how different each pregnancy can be!
