Anyone else's dates not make any sense to them?
My last period was May 25th.
I got my first positive test July 11th. (Pictured)
((I had my husband buy a test and he got clear blue brand.. I personally don't like them so I went July 12th and got the first response.))
Went to the doctor July 30th thinking I was 9 weeks and 2 days judging from my last period.
Baby only measured 5 weeks. (Pictured. Had to end up doing a vaginal ultrasound. They didn't change the dates on the ultrasound until my next appointment for whatever reason.)
Which makes my conception date July 2nd.
I'll be 35 weeks Monday and he has consistently measured with what they say. I just think it's so weird to be that off! I've had people (not doctors) just say I probably ovulated late, but doctors haven't said anything at all about it. I know it's not a big deal but it really bothers me for some reason. Lol.
Rabdom side note:
It makes me sad to see other moms attacking moms saying there is no way they know they are 3ish weeks pregnant. I'm living proof its definitely possible. Lol! I technically got my first positive at 2 weeks 2 days.. 🤷♀️😊
Don't hate me! If your conception date was July 2nd (conception day would be the day you ovulated - that is where you would count starting at 2 weeks) and you got a positive July 11th that would have made you 3+2. I have had a positive result as early as 6 days from missed period so around 3+1. From the day you ovulate on average it takes the egg 6-12 days to implant (they have seen as early as 3 days but it's not very common) and from there it will take 2-3 days on average for your body to produce enough hcg for a home pregnancy test to become positive. Sometimes our bodies gear up to ovulate and the egg just doesn't drop. So our bodies will try again later in our cycle throwing it off.
@emmahrenholz lmao I now understand the entire post. 😂 holy moly girl! That doesn't make any sense!
My date situation was weird this time. First ultrasound I was supposed to be 7 or 8 weeks. They only saw the sac. Next ultrasound they saw baby measure 2 weeks behind and she didn't change my due date because I knew for sure when my last period was. Now he measuring a couple weeks ahead. I'm glad she didn't change my dates. I have my last ultrasound in March.
You definitely ovulated later. I was taking clomid and STILL ovulated late. I found out right around 3 weeks I think. Definitely possible. I had my blood drawn the same day I got a faint line, my level was only a 27 and they say anything above 25 is pregnant.
Definitely could have ovulated later, that’s how I got pregnant.😂🤷🏻♀️ And you can know your pregnant early because when I found out with my last son, girl it was just an empty sac on the ultrasound. It happens. Good luck momma! ♥️
Yes my period didn’t match up with my due date until vag ultrasound gave me the correct date. I ovulate later and diff times every month. It’s weird.
I followed my cycle to a T!! I was using ovulation tests and temping so I’m 100% exactly when I conceived and I was still like 3-4 days off from my ultrasound 🤷🏻♀️
