So my friend has suggested having a girly night and asked if I fancy asking my mum to babysit and have my first girly night since Theon was born. However I don’t really want to spend an evening without him, numerous people have told me that I should go out without the baby but I don’t want to do anything without him. I know I’m just going to be uncomfortable to spend an evening without him 😕

Aww he's still little and your first. I don't think I went out with my first until he was on solids 🤗. Do what you feel comfortable with hun, there's no right or wrong. If you don't feel comfortable then maybe suggest a girls night in with a film and take away instead x

If you’re not comfortable don’t do it, he is still little. My little boy has just turned 2 and I have spent two two full nights away from him. Have had two other cinema nights where someone has sat in when he’s been in bed and that’s it! He came to my sisters hen weekend because I was breastfeeding and quite frankly wouldn’t have left him anyway!
It has to be right for you

If you’re not ready then don’t, you wouldn’t enjoy it anyway! My daughter is 2 and I’ve never spent a night without her xx

Can't u have a film/takeaway night at yours instead? I felt the exact same with my first. She was 4 before I let her go for a 'sleepover' at my Mums. The only time I had left her side was when she went to playgroup every morning for 2 and a half hours. And I will be the same for my second. Shes 5 months next week and I can't imagine leaving her anytime yet! X

My daughters 2 and a half and I’ve spent 3 nights without her? I would get in from a night out and the house would be so quiet and empty! Xx

Don't do it until your ready. My baby girls one next month and hasn't had a night away from me. One afternoon for about 3 hrs with her grandma as I had to go to an apt but apart from that. Doesn't leave my side much yet. x
