To my fellow nursing moms:
I've been nursing for 8 months now and noticed to itchy patches right where my areola begins in the last month or so. I'm guessing it's where my little ones chin rests while nursing and it's on both breasts. Has anyone else experienced this?

Honest co.

If patches are white and child has it inside mouth it can be thrush and will later be painful if so you'll need antibiotics for baby and you boobs before baby gets diaper rash from it

I should. No they are not white I thought it could be thrush but it's not on my nipple but more so on the borderline of my areola and my skin. I will try the one you recommended.

I never noticed that and I breastfed my youngest for 32 months.

I nursed my first 17 months and didn't have it then either.
