Okay I need tips of how to stop breastfeeding cold Turkey. I literally cant stand anything about breastfeeding anymore. Like it pisses me off when she eats. She typically only eats at nap time and night time to go to sleep and then throughout the night. Last night the breastfeeding aversion was so bad. Its usually happens when I'm getting her to sleep and shes eating for a half hour. Last night it was that and then all night long. Idk what to do when she wants to comfort nurse. Idk how to make her happy in that case. So I need to stop for real today. Please send tips and advice and most of all, prayers. I'm so nervous lol

honestly, it was hard as hell to stop. i gave in at night time, and eventually had to just force him to take his milk warmed up. he would cry and fight it, but eventually would give in. and eventually he stopped head butting my chest and trying to lift my shirt.

I just told my son “you drank all my Milkies” every time he wanted to nurse. Stopped cold turkey. It was kind of tough at first but he managed.

I just weened my son a couple weeks ago. I used apple cider vinegar. I had it in a bottle and everytime he wanted to nurse I’d hurry and slyly drop some on my breast and then offer him it. He refused. At night time too. It took 3 nights before he gave up. He did not cry all night though. Nap time was actually harder than night time. He would wake up at night and try to nurse but then roll over and go back to sleep. You just have to out your foot down and hold your ground. Honestly it was harder on me than him. Especially when I was engorged. I just wanted him to help me but I didn’t. I used my haakaa just for a little bit released.

I was in the same boat. I had to quit her cold turkey when I went to the hospital to have my son, she stayed 3 days 2 nights with my granny and then still wanted it for a week after I got home. It's gonna be hard but I'd let her stay with ur mom or something for a few days!
