Any moms have the IUD birth control and how do you like it? I have my 6 week appointment coming up and I have to decide if I want that or the pill since any hormone based throws me off balance!

There is a IUD with hormones and one without. I got the hormone (mirena) first and although it stopped my period the hormones in it drove me crazy. Second I got the paraguard IUD and have no problems with it.
That’s the cooper one isn’t it? Because that’s the one I’ve been looking into
@demonmuffin19 yes. It can make your periods heavy but I'd rather that than being crazy from hormones lol.

Yeah I want to try that because it fits more of what I need out of a BC
Hated it. It was good the first 4 months and then after it give me chronic yeast infections until I had it removed
Ouch momma! I can honestly say I’ve never had one of those but I know there not pleasant ;(
@demonmuffin19, I always have reactions to birth controls though, anything throws of my PH balance
@gianasmom, mine is just altering my hormones way way to much so I feel yeah
I had the mirena (hormonal one). While it was great not having much of a period, my mental health took a hit. I reacted similarly to bc pills with a similar hormone make up so it’s likely I’m just sensitive to the hormones and this won’t be everyone’s experience.
