Just got 4 garbage bags of clothes to donate from my drawers and closets. I can’t wait to go shopping after this baby is born. Most of my clothes are from before my son or as early as high school (graduated in 2003 😱)!! Just need to get Matt to go through his stuff next. I’m trying to go through this house room by room, but I get too distracted. So tackling a section in each room at a time, like the pantry, or a section of kitchen cabinets, or clothes, makes it a lot easier. I need to purge so much before March comes cause we’re finishing part of the basement to move the office down there so the 3rd bedroom can be the nursery. I can’t wait!

I am the same way! Graduated in 2004 and I still have clothes from then that I can’t let go but I’m not wearing! I get too distracted also so that’s a good idea to break it down in small parts so it doesn’t seem as overwhelming!

It’s making it so much easier and less redundant and boring too. I even had my son helping me this morning, giving me his opinion and helping put things in bags

I graduated 03’ too! I wish I would’ve purged more before my daughter was born. I can’t get my husband to go through his clothes for the life of me.

I tell mine that he can’t get new clothes until he goes through. And he’s desperate for new clothes, lol. Plus, I stopped putting them away for him. So either he lives off the floor, or he has to organize

I’ve told him that too! He keeps his clothes looking new. He does the laundry too. So that wouldn’t work for me.

We share laundry duty cause I can’t carry the baskets up and down the basement stairs anymore. I’m on lifting restrictions and the stairs are dark and steep. But I always put away cause I like things in a certain order, lol
