I had my IUD put in 6 weeks ago and I’m having cramping and abdominal tenderness and pain. I also can’t feel the strings anymore. I have an appointment in morning but hoping someone has gone through something similar and everything was fine?

I was bleeding a lot that’s one of the main reason y I took it the last time n for sure it was out of place
My iud moved twice in less than a year nothing bad they just pulled it out u will be fine if ur Obgyn can see without having to do an ultrasound they will just take out there n then if not then u will need an ultrasound to see exactly where it’s at then u will go from there on what they will do
Ok I can feel the string but it’s far back. Is that a good sign? Were these your symptoms?
@emily.elsholz, I think u should just see what the Obgyn says if she sees everything normal because it can also be ur body is trying to get used to it better be safe than sorry
Same symptoms it was painful cuz it had move to my right ovary I was lucky it wasn’t stuck in my ovary
