When you’re scheduled a repeat c-section, do they still check you for dilation and effacement?
My doctor has mentioned multiple times he doesn’t want me to go into labor on my own, but how would he know? Also, I know they say dilation and effacement in reality doesn’t provide a time frame for labor, so, it’s just got me wondering..

Mine never did. They just said if I go into labor before my csection then go to L&D. My first was emergency C-section and then I had 3 scheduled after that

I think of you mention you are having Braxton Hicks they will just to make sure you aren’t opening. But other than that, mine never did. They would always tell me they were and then say “oh wait, you’re having a csection, there isn’t a need for that”
