Okay ladies i have a question 36 weeks and 1 day first time mom so new to all this how do you know if your baby has dropped i think he has i got pain in my thighs like up high and kinda hurts down there some ????

Yes , I had the same thing happened to me . Try not to do a lot I use to move around a lot and it would hurt more !!

Okay i was thinking that but was unsure i trying not to do 2 much but hard sometimes i cant sleep and nesting bad i was up at 1am folded clothes done dishes and swept and mopped the kitchen lol...

Most likely baby is getting head into position and its normal to feel a lot of pressure and pain down there when they do. Doesn't always mean labor is near though. I never really "dropped" with any of my kids, I guess some people notice their belly getting lower but I never did.

I didn't really notice it getting lower i just noticed the pain cause didn't have it before now ..

You can’t always tell. At one of my appointments my OB told me my son had dropped into position but my stomach looked the same and I felt the same.
