Can anyone recommend any good 'learning tools' for 2-3yo's?
Kylan knows all his colours, can recognise all of his flashcards, count to 10(ish) and knows a handful of shapes.. What can I get to encourage shapes, maybe letters, numbers etc

Foam letters he can stick on wall in bath or fish out paddling pool when warmer weather comes in? Wipe clean a4 sheets with letters? Chalk board/white board easel?

Yeah they should do get them cheap on eBay I just stick some letters up and shout the letter when he points to it, it’s pretty much how we did colours. He is two on Wednesday and can count to six and say a handful of letters and his colours xx

he is clever with somethings but never looks where he is going so trips and falls. I think learning through play is the easiest way x

Jax learnt all his shapes from wooden puzzles. He learnt 1-20 from number cards and counting blocks xx

See if you show him like number 7 can he tell what it is from looking at it? I might get some number cards..
He's got a shape wooden puzzle and that's how he's grasping them at the minute..
I want to start introducing him to letters too, might see if I can get letter cards 🤔x

Yeah, i can write any number between 1-20 and he will know it.
Just do one at a time, I spent probably about a week every day doing shapes. Then a week every day doing numbers. He knows how to spell his name but doesn’t really know the alphabet much xx

Nursery are encouraging him loads as well which definitely helps so he doesn't get sick of me harping on 😂.. I'll have a look on eBay and see what I can find. I think flashcards will be better than a chalk board to begin with as he will just want to draw otherwise lol x
