When they say don’t force potty training until the child shows interest, they really mean that.
I swear I thought Faye would be in diapers at her wedding, but today she woke up and said, “Big girl underwears, mommy! I’m a big girl!”. So, I immediately put her in her big girl underwear and she’s not had one accident all day. She’s told me every time she needs to pee. 😭🙌🏼 Now fingers crossed this sticks, and she can also figure out the pooping part. 🤞🏼

You're right. I just started but I don't think she's quite ready yet. In my mind it had to be done at 2 but I may have to wait this out a little longer for my sanity 😂

That’s true we started potty training last Friday and my son is already at the point that he tells us when he has to pee and poop verbally he can’t say it and he’s not even two but we taught him signs to show us I think the reason he caught on so fast is because we’ve been sitting him on toilet since he was 1 1/2 before he would take a bath but just started full fledge potty training for a week and he’s had about 3 accidents

I did a terrible thing and put Oliver in a diaper today because I had just told him to use the potty and he pooped in the actual real underwear. He likes to run away from me. Aarem was under 3 when he was potty trained. Oliver doesn’t care. At least Faye is finally realizing she wants to be a big girl!!! That’s awesome.
