So my induction is scheduled for the 24th. I have another measuring ultrasound on the 19th which will tell us if she needs a C-section. My son got stuck at only 7lbs, I had a 3rd degree tear and he was born with a fever spending 4 days in the NICU. My Midwife and OB are trying to avoid all of that this time but she is already over 7lbs as of 5 days ago. Plus her abdomen is measuring in the 96% so they are scared her shoulders will get stuck after her head comes out and I will wind up with an emergency C-section which is dangerous after she has already come head out. Basically the 19th will confirm she is over 8lbs, has a large body and needs a C-section the following week at 39 weeks so both her and I are safe. Preparing myself that most likely the induction will be changed to a C-section. My baby girl is going to be here either the 24th or 25th depending on their openings but, I'm sad she wont be a March baby like me but at least she will still be a Pisces! ♓️ Any post care C-section tips?

Take your time move as slow as you desire! I’ve had two and my second was the worst healing because I left the hospital so soon, I’m currently on my second Infection on my scar but everything else is good! Keep area clean and dry!

I went threw something similar. I labored for to long after my water was broken. He came out with a fever and his arm got stuck so he lost oxygen. Had to spend 4 days in the NICU also. I was so scared. Sorry that happend to you I hope they can do something diff this time

Get up and move after, don't overdo it but moving will help you heal faster. Use a feminine pad to put between your incision and underwear to cushion it. Sneezing, coughing and laughing will hurt for a bit, hold a pillow over your incision to help. It's not as scary as it seems, I thought it was a really interesting experience, when not emergency of course then I imagine it's pretty scary. Don't worry if your afraid to look at your incision, that's normal, I didn't look until I was 2 weeks pp lol.
