This guy I work with his daughters been sick they FINALLY took her to the er and she has pneumonia. He says "oh she just has pneumonia" just? JUST? That can be life threatening, she's 4. I don't understand why people don't take stuff seriously.

Omg that's awful. My four year old had walking pneumonia right after the new year and I felt so bad that I didn't push for an x Ray when the doctor thought it was just a respiratory infection. Poor thing hopefully she's better soon

Wtf? I had my son to the Dr as soon as symptoms began. Was told it was just a cold. 2 weeks later (waited bc we went to Disney after his first visit) and he had developed pneumonia. This was in November. It's no joke and definitely not something to be taken lightly. I brought my son to the Dr last week and again was told, it's just a cold. A week later he started having coughing spells and couldn't catch his breath. Took him to urgent care and he had bronchitis. Idk why people don't take their kids illnesses seriously!

My 3 year old sister had pneumonia and it’s been scary as hell. We make her stay inside, take her neb and meds like clockwork and we’ve taken her to 3 check ups. It’s so scary
