How long after taking meds did you start feeling a difference? I had lost 50 lbs and it’s back and refusing to come back off🤦🏻♀️ I’ve been seriously dragging lately no matter how much sleep I get. As for irritability I seriously thought it was my birth control honestly. Plus I’m freezing all the time when I’m normally hot
I’d say 1-2 months but I’m only taking 25mg levothyroxine/synthroid that’s the usual base/staring dose I guess? but if you’re taking medication and you’re not feeling any better then you can have your dr order a blood test to check thyroid levels again and go from there

I have hypothyroidism but don’t really have any symptoms. I actually have more of the hyperthyroidism symptoms. It’s very odd.

That is! My mom was the same! But she’s hypo it wasn’t until she was older that her symptoms were more aligned with hypo
