:: This might be a random question but can your milk come in earlier with subsequent children?
With my first, my milk came in the day after we got home from the hospital. So on day 3 or 4 PP. I was talking to a vet mom who just had her baby 2 days ago, and her milk came in while she was still in the hospital and she was able to pump out several ounces of milk. I thought that was awesome and it got me wondering if it’s just her body, or if it’s because this isn’t her first baby. 🤷🏻♀️ Anyone have experiences with their milk coming in faster then with their first?

With my 3rd and 4th pregnancies it came in before baby was born. My 4th it was actually like around 33-34 weeks when I’d wake up soaking wet or if I heard a baby crying on tv or in the grocery store I’d start leaking. My dr told me it was normal but not to pump or express it just to wear the nursing pads so that’s what I did

Yours came in WHILE you were pregnant?! Your milk. Not colostrum? I didn’t think that was possible. That’s crazy! You could have worn those little things that fit in your bra and catch what you leak! 🤣
I’ve had some colostrum leaking since about 20 weeks but nothing even enough to warrant nursing pads. I didn’t leak at all with my first.
I was just hoping my milk would come in sooner after I’ve given birth then it did with my first. Lol

yeah it was crazy. With my 3rd it was just a day or two before I had her it went to milk but with my last baby it was only clear for a week and then turned white like milk and I showed my dr he even said it looked like milk and so we prepared for baby to be born early and turns out I carried her the longest.

I have breastmilk coming in from my right breast, but just colostrum from my left. This has been happening for about a week now 🤷🏼♀️
