Didn’t have school January 14th - 17th, finally had school Jan 18th but then weather struck again and had no school from Jan 19th - Feb 4th FINALLY had school on Feb 5th and it gets canceled at noon because of impending weather. Now it’s the 7th and there is no school today or tomorrow.
Thank goodness for Education.com!! The kids have been loving the worksheets.
Yes they love love love school and love to learn! They begged to do extra sheets after their main daily worksheets. My son is always walking around with math flash cards 😅
Everyone seems so positive towards the 4 day approach and it just seems insane to me.
@knockout, it seems good at first but three days off at a time creates longer school days and more regression each week. Makes for really tired kids and lack of family time. Just for a couple big downfalls.
You get a limit of free worksheets a month but I use 4 emails so it’s enough for a full month 😅
@knockout, I just did that this month though. I like it enough to subscribe in the future
Wow that's a lot of no school! Will they have to make all them days up at the end of the year?
@scream.queen, here in Missouri we always have tons of snow days. And the school is actually considering a 4 day week. That would be so silly with the amount of school already missed each year 😩
@knockout, Whaaat?! How can they even do that? Does it snow a lot there or just really crappy weather?? I live in PA so we could have 6 or so inches and the kids still have school!
@scream.queen, ice! Even the service road blades are getting off the road. Plus it was -30 so they canceled school because vehicles (busses) were randomly shutting down. We’ve had a lot of accidents. We had 11 in of snow and it’s been raining and freezing everyday. Can’t even walk on the grass without falling. The snow melted and caused flooding then it froze again
Awesome job mama helping kiddos get education while out so much!!
PS-as a teacher at a four day school...not a good idea. 😬😬
