How Do You Start potty Training a 2 yr Old??

How Do You KNOW When They're Ready?

Also My Daughter is One . They Say Girls Are Easier? So I'm Hoping I Can Get Both Of Them Going Somewhat at The Same Time Hopefully she sees him an Does The Same. They're 10 months apart.

An I Would Looove To Get Them Atleast Using It Sometimes or get the Feel of peeing in it By July (New Baby Comes)

Ik It Will Be a Challenge Bt I'm Ready . 🤞🏼🤞🏼😬.

They're both pulling Their diapers Off now.

I'm actually listening to an audiobook now that seems really solid. "Oh crap! Potty training".

Also it's a myth that girls are easier to train than boys.

I'm not ready to start my kiddo yet, but if you dedicate a few really solid days to getting started and learning kiddo's cues, it's should take until July. But trying to teach both kids at the same time will be very difficult so focusing on one would probably be more successful.

Good luck!

When they start pulling off their diapers and wanting changed as soon as they go is when I start. Tons of praise and rewards. Never punish. It’ll take some time. My oldest son and daughter were easy to train. My son actually took to it easier but my daughter did pretty well. We used m&ms as treats every time they went. My middle son didn’t want treats. Singing and high fives is what he gets. I think each child is different so you have to try different approach’s.

I knew it was time when my son started going in his diaper on a more scheduled basis. He would need to be changed less often and would pee every 3 hours. If we tried to change him earlier he wouldn't have gone. We needed to see core skills for him. So him being able to pull off his pants and him being able to pull them up. We worked on that skill during bath and bed times. Once he had those, we started talking about going to the bathroom and before I would put him in a new diaper I let him sit on a potty to "try" and I would put the diaper away and get a fresh one while he was in the bathroom. We started reading potty books as well. He started training when he felt like trying. And his first pee we told him we knew he could do it and let's see if we can try again. He didn't have control or the ability to identify his "go to go" feeling but we worked on trying to help him notice it. Once he did we rewarded that with more praise and worked on getting there before the feeling or hold and finish on the potty. Now when there is an accident, he can tell me and help to change himself. He is more able to notice if he has had more to drink that day versus days when he doesn't drink as much.

With my second. I'll do the same, wait until I see a pattern before potty training and go from there
