Is there a valid reason why newborns become so aggressive while breastfeeding? She was just fine the first couple weeks and just a few days ago, she became a little more aggressive. Keeps latching and unlatching. Keeps pulling and then pressing her face against my boob. And she likes to wiggle while she's in my arms sometimes.

Seems like she's trying to get it out? Do you have a clogged duct?

No? I'm not in any pain. I can squeeze milk out just fine

hmmm idk. My daughter got that way when she was gasy too

Yeah i burp her after every feeding. She would sometimes fart when she's laying on her pillow or swing.

Both of my babies were like this from the start and refused to latch and stay latched. Breastfeeding was unsuccessful for us.

Aaww I'm sorry :( I'm not having problems breastfeeding. She is getting enough and she has gained 13 oz since the day she was born, which was nearly 3 weeks ago. I'm just curious on why sometimes she's aggressive while feeding

My son was like that and still is sometimes. He seems like a lazy eater and will mess around like that until the letdown comes. He'd much rather it be gushing into his face then patiently eat until the flow starts. 🙄
