Have you called your doctor or have you just been to the ER?

With our second son I started bleeding heavy at 5 weeks and it continued through 20 weeks. It was unexplained the entire time. Scared the crap out of me. He was born full term and healthy. Our fifth pregnancy I started bleeding at 4 weeks. It was off and on and full of complications. I had a subchorionic hematoma that cleared by 11 weeks. We also discovered I was well on my way to placenta previa at 11 weeks as my placenta was sitting right on top of my cervix. Unfortunately we lost baby 1 day short of 14 weeks due to a genetic abnormality. My best advice is to rest, drink fluids, pelvic rest until you cam be seen and monitor the bleeding with pads. I started bleeding with my baby when I was 7 weeks along. I kept bleeding tell I was about 30 weeks! They couldn’t seem to find out what was making me bleed at first and had me still going to work. Telling me the bleeding was nothing. (I was also cramping & the cramps hurt 😔 ) then when I hit 11weeks I started bleeding even more and went back to the ER and they did multiple ultrasounds to try to see what was going on. Finally a specialist OB doctor took me and gave me an ultrasound finding out I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. He then put me on bed rest and told me I couldn’t work. He had me going in every week till I was 27 weeks along for ultrasounds and eventually I healed up and by 30 weeks I finally stopped bleeding and was able to go back to work lightly. Had baby at 37 Weeks 😁 strong healthy baby boy! I would REST!! Really I hated it so much but I swear that was the only thing that helped me feel better.
