Has any of your babies (newborn to one) woke up with random small bruises? Its like a rash but with bruises instead of red bumps.
My little boy is 5. Last month he developed a rash that DIDNT fade with glass, of course I freaked out because instantly thought meningitis 😳 he also lost the ability to walk. So I took him to the ER.
He ended up having a rare immune disorder called HSP. It’s basically where his immune system overreacts to an infection/chemical/vaccine/etc and causes the blood vessels under his skin to burst which then causes the inflammation and rash. The “rash” then fades to purple “bruise” looking spots. It’s not contagious but takes about 4-6 weeks for him to get over the outbreak. He was admitted to the hospital and now he has to go to the dr biweekly to check his vitals.
My niece has this too. She had her first outbreak at 18 months and stopped walking because it hurt so much
@farmers_wife10, yes!! My boy had a really bad outbreak last month. He stopped walking... lost function of his arm/hand... had swelling on his spine.
It was horrible. I felt so bad for him. He was out of school for a month.
@lifegrowsinside, it could be a number of things from the little capillaries bursting causing bleeding under the skin, to something more serious , does she crawl yet?x
Its nothing to worry thankfully
