Anyone have any tips on getting Tinley to poop in the potty!?
She brought me a diaper, and the only time she does that is when she’s got to poop.
I refused to put it on her and made her go to the potty, but she still won’t poop. 🤦♀️.
She will literally hold it until she can hide from me and poop her panties.

My son was the same way . The more your force her the more she will refuse that’s what the doctors told me. I wasn’t as pushy and he eventually started on his own she will get there ❤️

I’m not forcing her. She pees in the potty all day. She just won’t poop in it. When she poops her panties I clean her up and put another pair back on her.

I haven’t even been putting anything on her when she goes to bed. She goes in panties. I have the plastic still on my mattress so I figured I’d just let her stay in panties and get the hang of getting up to pee. She hasn’t pooped the bed yet. She’s peed the bed once so far.

If she isn’t ready - nothing you can do.
My 20mo will only do 💩 on the potty - she will never pee. She can control her pee - if I strip her clothes off she will stand there and try to push her pee off - once she does, she thinks it’s hysterical and laughs so much she sometimes falls in her own pee on the floor 😂
Just give her time. Ask her to do it on the potty. Encourage. Let her know that you are going to 💩 on the toilet when you do. Hopefully she will catch on soon.
It’s mostly control thing - she knows she can control it - so she will.

My daughter was the same way, it's very common. I still put a pull up on her for naps & bedtime bc she wasn't waking up dry. I would always prompt her to go before nap/bedtime but she would always wait and poop in her pull up. I didn't make a big deal out of it. We just talked about it a lot...how it's okay to be scared bc it's something new they haven't done yet. We talked about how everyone poops on the potty & we name everyone we know. Daddy poops on the potty, Grandma poops on the potty, etc. Lol 😂 We read lots of different potty books very often. And always took her in the bathroom when we went poop so she could see. There is also an Elmo movie called Potty Time that's great. Everyone Poops is a good book for them too. Just keep talking & reading about it which you're probably already doing. It will happen...but if you make a big deal out of it, it will just turn into a power struggle. Be patient.

I haven’t been forcing it or anything.
When she mentions that she needs to poop I always take her to the bathroom and talk to her about pooping in it. Lol.
I’ve even pooped and showed her and then had her sit on the potty 😂🤦♀️.
If she goes in her panties I always clean her up and talk to her about pooping in the potty. I don’t get mad at her or anything.
I know she will get it eventually, I just hate how she holds it.
