My son is 13 pounds and is 6 months 😢 He was born premature at 1 pound 4 oz and I’ve done everything the pediatrician suggested to try and get him to gain weight and still nothing 😩 They keep wanting to admit to the hospital over & over but I won’t let them because it’s a waste of time he went back in December for 2 weeks and still was the same weight. Any suggestions moms?

What have they suggested? My nephew is currently 14lbs and he's 6 months old. My sister said the doctor wants her to give him cereal.

@mommytoprincebryce oh my... they may have to do lab work to figure out why he isn't gaining.

@chasha2017, they have. They admit him to the hospital feed him every 4 hours send us home when he gains the weight and then when he loses a pound they want him back ! I’m feeding him every 2 hours which just started it’s so frustrating because I don’t want to force him because I don’t want him to get bottle aversion and doesn’t want the bottle at all and then he has to get a feeding tube
