Yeah my mom is a narcissistic alcoholic so she’s extremely toxic and she does try to run my life but fails each time.

@jade2017 @amberdaugherty I was cooking dinner and told my husband to hang up on her cause my hands was full, cause I'm pregnant with high blood pressure and on behavioral health meds, I'm over you tryna run my life and we live another state away....botching about where I put my microwave, how I cook my food, where I plug cords, my babys theme.....everything I'm done with it.

Right that's why, with my baby, and even with my husband we gonna talk stuff out, we gonna try to understand each other, we gone tell my son that we love him, and that hes handsome......stuff I've never heard from my family....my family always been there financially, but emotionally? Not at all....I'm not gonna be controlled like my sister and dad that still live with her. Mind you both of my felicia and dad are on drugs living with my mom...wonder why....

yeah I completely understand where your coming from. I wasn’t told much of how beautiful I was and hugs stopped at a early age like around 7-8 years old. Hug your child/children, say I love you, tell him he’s cute or handsome or a sweetie. It will go a long way.

Oh god I do I love my mother but she has had controlling issues! When I turned 18 I got married and the day we was moving into our own house a month after being married my mom threw a fit saying I wasn't aloud to leave and would give me my shit or my car title that was in my name that I paid for! She done a hole lot more but that was one of the biggest I wanted her in the room when I had my daughter tho just because I needed her for comfort she always tells me what I should and shouldn't do with Olivia but I just tell her to shut up of mind her own business I'm really shocked I'm alive she feed me mashed potatoes and shit at like a month old and tried it with Olivia and I went ogf6

I have that control mom but not as bad as my Grama. It was defiantly passed down from my Grama! My grama used to tell my daughters at 1 1/2 years old that she was ugly cause her hair wasn’t brushed, and I would get so fucken pissed and tell her why you say such awful things to her plus we’re not even going anywhere today she’s fine let her be. And her response was oh I’m sure she understands what I’m saying 😑 like yeah she does cause she makes a sad face every time you say she’s ugly; and she kept saying that until she was 4 anytime her hair wasn’t brushed it was like shut up with your ruthless comments
